Welcome to our school website!
I am privileged to be able to introduce myself as the head teacher of Park Hill Primary School and have been in post since January 2016. The school has a strong history of working in collaboration with families within Eastern Green and surrounding areas of Coventry and has a very good reputation across the city. I am proud to play a role in its history.
Park Hill Primary School is a very happy and busy school – there is always so much going on! The school has recently completed an expansion project involving an increase in pupil numbers over a number of years – moving from admitting 45 children on role each year to an increase of 60 children. In September 2017, the school opened a new preschool providing a teacher led early years provision for two and three years old which also includes before and after school care. We are a forward-thinking school, always striving for improvement and seeking new and exciting initiatives for the best outcomes for children.
I believe that our website reflects our school well and I hope that by navigating through the pages of information and class blogs, you have a flavour of life at Park Hill and that you have the information that you need about our school. If you are a prospective parent, please make an appointment to visit the school in order to gain a sense of the ethos at Park Hill. I am confident that you wouldn’t be disappointed!
I look forward to any feedback that you may have for us. Thank you for taking the time and interest in our school.
Mr P Griffin
Head Teacher Park Hill
My name is Miss Norcliffe and I am pleased that I already know many of you. I started my journey at Park Hill in 2015 in Early Years and had the pleasure of teaching a fantastic group of children who I followed into Key Stage One where I landed in Year Two as Key Stage One Assistant Head. Teaching is my passion and making a difference is what matters to me. Children hold fond memories of Primary School and ensuring they get the positive experiences and memories to carry with them is a priority of mine. Although I don’t get to have my own class in my new role as Deputy Headteacher I am excited that I get to work across the whole school and look forward to getting to know any children or families that I don’t already.
Communication is a key driver and family/community feedback is important to me. Please do come and say ‘Hello’ when you see me around school; I look forward to working with you all.
