Oct 1 @ 11:15 am – Nov 27 @ 12:00 pm

Park Hill is keen to welcome new parents into our school, whist adhering to current COVID19 restrictions. All our plans are subject to change however we would like to invite you in to meet our Teachers, Senior Management and look around our school.

We plan on doing two dates when no children will be in school:

Wednesday 4th November 2020, 6pm-7pm

Saturday 28th November 2020, 10am-11am

Parents will have 4 parts to the visit, in strict 10-minute slots.

For example:

Group 1 – 10 mins = hall (talk about Park Hill from Head Teacher and Deputy Head)

Group 2 – 10 mins = hall (talk about EYFS and Reception from Deputy Head and Teacher)

Group 3 – 10 mins = Reception classroom tour

Group 4 – 10 mins = Reception outdoors tour

We will do these in groups of a maximum of 6 people. All parents will need to wear a face mask. We will ask that only one parent attends please.

Thank you for your support with this.

Please email to book either Wednesday 4th November or Saturday 28th November.

We look forward to welcoming you to Park Hill.

Kind regards,

Mr P Griffin              Miss A Norcliffe

Half Term Fun

We are here to support your pupils and parents, by providing them with a wide range of ideas for things to do in Half Term. Due to the uncertain climate, we are covering all bases, and have lots to choose from…
On Coventry Rocks, there are over 50 local parks, nature reserves, woodlands, and walks. Perfect for getting some fresh air and exercise.
We have gather together lots of local Halloween events and attractions – from pumpkin picking to halloween crafts.
Since this year is slightly different, with no Trick-or-Treating allowed, we have written an article which is jam-packed full of useful ideas and tips for making Halloween great this year.
In our Half Term collection, we have round up local attractions, events and activities going on in and around Coventry – this means parents can spend less time searching and more time having fun! The collection can easily be filtered down by price, age, and distance.
We also have a collection of Online Activities and Groups, and we are poised and ready to add more online options should a lockdown take place.
Finally, we have some really useful articles on our website, such as Pumpkin PickingHoliday ClubsFamily Friendly Walks, and Places to Feed the Ducks
Our social pages are also really popular, as we send posts out daily with ideas for things to do in the local area. We encourage the parents to like and follow us on Facebook and Instagram so they can keep up to date with everything going on.
I hope you’ll be happy to share some of this information with your parents? To make your life as easy as possible I have attached a Flyer and a Thumbnail, incase you wanted to add it to a newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your PTA aswell, as I would be very happy to promote any events that you have coming up (open days, christmas fairs, etc). If they would like to get in touch, they can email me direct at
Thank you very much in advance for sharing Coventry Rocks and helping to spread the word with local families. It’s been such a difficult year so far, I hope our website helps to make their lives just that little bit easier.
Any questions, or if you’d like any more information, just let me know.
All the best,
