These values support the way in which all members of the school can live and work together in a supportive way. PERSEVERANCE

Perseverance is never giving up, and just carrying on.

‘We showed perseverance when we were 5-0 down in a match and we won 6-5 because we didn’t give up, and tried our best!’ –  Nathan and Jimi, Year 5.

ASPIRATION

‘Aspiration means what your goals and your dreams are and never giving up to achieve them.’ – Millie, Year 6.

 

‘Aspiration is something you want to do e.g. being a vet. It then means working as hard as you can to achieve it.’ –  Grace, Year 6.

RESPECT

‘Respect is treating other people how you want to treated.’ –  Hayden, Year 4.

‘Respect is showing good manners to people.’ –  Jacob, Year 4.

KINDNESS

Kindness is when “we are nice people”  – Eliska, Reception.

‘If you are kind, you share your toys.’ –  Saul, Reception.

‘Being kind is helping other children with their work when they are struggling’ – Zach, 1R

‘If someone is hurt, you should help them and look after them’ – Sophie, 1R

HONESTY

‘Honesty is not lying’ – Sam, Year 2

‘You need to be honest because if you lie you will get found out’ – Ethan, Year 2.

RESPONSIBILITY

‘Responsibility is looking after things.’ – Lexi, Year 3.

‘Some people have responsibility as jobs to look after things.’ – Jorja, Year 3.
