As a school council, we meet once a month to discuss issues that will make our school a better place for us all. Each school councillor meets with their class and brings any issues to meetings for us to discuss.
So far this year, we have successfully raised money for Children in Need, Kidscape and Save the Children Fund.
We raised £140.60 for Kidscape during Anti-Bullying week, by all wearing the colour of friendship, yellow, and paying for the privilege.
For Children in Need, Years 5 and 6 were entrepreneurs for the day and ran their own stalls, that the rest of the school visited to spend their money. We raised £1933.16 and with Lloyds Bank matched funding that will be £2433.16.
In December, we all wore our Christmas jumpers for the day to support Save the Children and £252 was collected.
